As we entered, footsteps resounding on the wooden floor, we were struck by the stunning decor. Unique painted boards and canvases hung on rich red walls, making the atmosphere a little bit Spanish, and a little bit arty.
There is a wide variety of hot and cold Spanish influenced tapas (appetizers) to choose from. We had the garlic shrimp which we thoroughly enjoyed, the cold tapas plate which consisted of Manchego cheese, blue cheese and Serrano ham with roasted garlic and red peppers, a goat cheese salad, and some yummy goat cheese-stuffed dates wrapped in bacon. We also feature in the video some delicious chicken empanadas enjoyed by another diner.
The beer and wine are also on the menu at this tapas bar. We opted for red wine and tried four out of five wines served there, each with their own identifiable characteristics.
The waitress was very knowledgeable about the food and wine and very pleasant. We had fun relaxing and enjoying the treats and the environment which was busy, warm, cosy and intimate.
