Olde Heritage Tavern Freshly made favorites MENUsubject to change An Anne & Steve review       What a pleasant surprise. We were looking for a place to eat on a Sunday afternoon around 3:00 but most places we wanted to go to had closed around 2:00. We came upon the Olde Heritage Tavern and saw a lively scene outside in the front yard where the tables are spread out. We were drawn to the breezy tree-shaded outdoor environment with its comfortable rocking metal chairs. This place is open and ready for business anytime, breakfast, lunch or dinner. The waitress was on her game - attentive, efficient and cheerful.
The spinach and artichoke dip was chunky, not creamy and it was covered in quality cheddar cheese. It was a gratin of culinary heights with whole artichoke heart pieces and wholesome spinach served with crispy pita chips. We soon discovered that we didn’t even need the chips with this delicious dish.
On this beautiful sunny day, we found our new favorite anytime joint for locals, but welcoming to week-enders and vacationers. Olde Heritage Tavern is a must for good quality, gourmet tavern food. Many thumbs up.

We had the unsweetened house brewed ice tea which was tasty. But if you want grog, brew, mixed drinks or wine, this is a tavern and many options abound.
For appetizers we opted for the garden salad: a generous portion of green leaf lettuce with cucumber, shredded carrots, sliced mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and onions. It was served with the house vinaigrette which comes in a beer bottle. This was Anne's idea of what a great salad should be.
Next up was the better-than-a-BBQ-joint pulled pork sandwich which Anne loved. It is served with cole slaw and your choice of fries (sweet potato, hand cut or curly). We had the hand cut fries and they were wonderful.
Steve had the famous burger and nominates this for the finals of his best burger in the Berkshires contest, to be held soon. This burger was perfect, almost light as in a Jackson Hole way, charred on the outside, medium on the inside and moist on a nice toasted bun.
